@Orchard LLC has been retained by a well-established Big 4 client. Our client has an immediate need for experienced Sr Associates to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Manage the key components of delivering a portfolio of Government Contractor Services and Regulatory Compliance Advisory and consulting projects, including solutioning, planning and execution
- Direct multiple teams delivering contract regulatory, transaction Due Diligence (buy and sell side), cost accounting and financial transformation consulting projects to leading Government contractors across the Aerospace & Defense, manufacturing, technology, services, healthcare, transportation and engineering industries
- Lead teams to deliver indirect rate studies and assist clients with cost and rate structure strategy and deliver U.S. Government regulatory compliance training sessions for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide subject matter knowledge to federal government contractors on urgent matters in association with multi-service line projects involving Audit, Consulting, Cybersecurity, Shared Services, Tax and Strategy practices
- Develop U.S. Government regulatory and cost accounting advisory research and position papers addressing current developments in regulatory or industry matters and publish publicly through social media channels
- Identify and build long-term business relationships with new or existing target clients and key executives, by learning their business to provide tailored insights
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of recent experience with a public accounting firm, advisory services firm, or a large multinational organization conducting financial audit or corporate accounting
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; licensed CPA or other Post graduate degree preferred
- Strong current knowledge in one of the following: U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SEC financial reporting issues, bankruptcies, business combinations, or financial restatements
- Demonstrated ability to connect with senior executives of leading organizations to generate new business relationships and projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams of over twenty employees comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
- Travel may be up to 50-75%
