Our client is a world-renowned global brand – one of the “Big Four” Accounting and Tax firms and one of the world’s largest technology consultancies. With over 150,000 employees worldwide and FY 2013 revenues in excess of $23 billion, it is a massive firm experiencing double-digit growth.
Our client is faced with major recruiting challenges globally, owing to a combination of key talent scarcity and their sheer volume of hiring activity. US recruiting within their industry is fiercely competitive. Starting in 2012, the US division needed to expand its hiring rapidly as commercial clients began to emerge from the global recession and seek technology assistance.
Our client’s recruiting leadership determined the best approach would be a combination of core salaried recruiting leadership and staff, offshore volume/low cost search for certain positions, and to partner with an RPO vendor in the US able to aggressively source for the most challenging positions. This approach allowed the firm to gain flexibility in its staffing footprint while ensuring standards of quality were maintained.
@Orchard worked closely with the client to design an approach that focused our team on the most mission-critical hiring positions, regardless of level, skill set or geography. Over an 18-month period, the project was so successful that demand for our services within the client skyrocketed. From an initial 40-hour-per-week proof of concept, the assignment has grown to average a Full-time Equivalent (FTE) of more than 15 and has supported every aspect of the client’s consulting business, as well as Corporate, Tax and Audit.
